Kingsway Instructional Centre is now accepting registrations for their spring semester of courses. Please fill out your registration soon as spacing is quite limited with these courses being offered to the community for FREE.

Meet our team of professionals who are members of the community

Our instructors are not only professional at their craft but are members of your community as well. We want to give back to the community and we are pleased to be able to offer these high quality courses free of charge.

Jason Hogan

Multimedia / Web Developer

Jason Hogan has been developing high-end multimedia and websites for over 20 years. He has received several awards for his work in motion graphics, web development, video editing as well as several published and televised works.

John Leung

Guitar Instructor

John teaches music as a hobby and enjoys imparting knowledge to others as well as learning from his own students.Having learned piano, guitar, drums during his earlier years, he has a strong curiosity for music and enjoys sharing his gift of music with the world!

Diane Hedgecock

ESL Instructor

Lorraine Popik has a bachelor of Education in English and has taught twenty-three years in the classroom. She has taught junior high Language Arts, high school English and English as a second language classes.

Jeanne Alders

Healthy Vegetarian Cooking Instructor

Jeanne Aalders is a long time nurse, still working part-time for Covenant Health. She has previously been active with the CHIP course. (Coronary Health Improvement Program) developed by Dr. H. Diehl.

How long do courses run for?

Lessons are offered once each Sunday for 8 – 12 weeks depending on the course selected. All the specific details can be found on each course’s page.

What will I need to bring with me?

On each courses page can be found the requirements, however, aside from guitar lessons and needing gym attire for the fitness classes; All we need is for you to bring yourself and be ready to have fun and learn!

What if I have more questions?

There are forms on each courses page for if you need to ask a specific question.

Are these courses are ABSOLUTELY free?

Yes. These courses are offered for free and no strings attached. We want to give back to the community and all we ask is that as a student you make a solid commitment when registering for our programs because seating is limited.
